Auction Rules and Guidelines

• All CKP Employees participating in the auction must register.

• Registration can be completed via email Dave.Colgan@ckpi.com

• To be registered you must be a CKP Employee and provide the following information:

  •Full Name

  •Employee Number

  •Valid Email Address

  •Deposit with a post-dated check (November 3, 2025) addressed to Canadian Kraft Paper Industries Ltd. for $500

  •Arrangements must be made with Dave Colgan (dave.colgan@ckpi.com or 204-623-8528) for deposit to finalize registration with post dated check. This step must be completed prior to October 21st, 2025 @ 3:00 PM

• Item descriptions are on the CKP Website. This website will be shared with the registrants at the time of completed registration.

• Viewing of the auction items is open to all from October 20, 2025 to October 21, 2025.

• All participants must be registered no later than October 21, 2025 @ 3:00 PM.

• Auction starts 8:00 AM, October 22, 2025 and closes 3:00 PM October 24, 2025.

• Final notification to all successful bidders will be communicated via email on October 27, 2025.

• Payment must be made in full no later than 3:00 PM October 30, 2025. Call Dave Colgan to coordinate payment

• All successful bidders must schedule removal with Dave Colgan @ 204-623-8528. The removal plan must be discussed with Dave to ensure the loading plan is considered safe and approved to proceed. All site policies and procedures for safety must be met.

• All auctioned items must be removed from site no later than November 3, 2025.

• TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SALE OF SURPLUS ASSETS, Canadian Kraft Papers Limited form must be completed prior to removal from site. Dave Colgan will issue this form and arrange for final payment CKP.

• All bidding must be completed on the website by individual item.

• Bids are to be placed online.

• All items have a minimum reserve bid.

  •40 ft can $3,500

  •20ft can $2,500

  •Collapsable Flat rack $1,080

• Bids must be in $25 increments.

• If a bid is received and does not meet the minimum reserve or the incremental nomination of $25, the bid will be disqualified.

• Current active bid for each unit will be posted daily @ noon and 4 PM. Only the bid price will be posted.

• All items are auctioned condition as is where is and freight is the responsibility of the successful bidder.

• In the event of a duplicate bid, the first bid received will be accepted, the duplicate bid will be disqualified, and the bidder will be notified via email.

• Any discrepancies will be resolved between the registered bidder and CKP.
